The mother church of the Baptist movement in Maryland is Nanjemoy Baptist Church. The church was established in 1793, therefore making it one of the oldest and continous Baptist Churches in the state of Maryland. Through the years Nanjemoy Baptist has planted churches in Charles, St. Mary's and Calvert Counties and sent out Pastors & Missionaries. God has blessed us tremendously.
